Twin Souls

I look at you and you make me smile
from deep within my heart.
I feel a longing from my soul
whenever we're apart.

You have unlocked the doorway to my soul
and set my spirit free.
You've helped me grow immensely
I'm now comfortable being me.

Taking each and every day
the way that it unfolds.
Having you to share that with,
to see what the future holds.

I feel your essence through my veins
you and I are one.
Our souls knew we'd be together
when our friendship first begun.
